Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening is one of the simplest and least expensive techniques that can give you a brilliant and beautiful smile. Our custom made whitening kits to use at home are comfortable, easy to use, and deliver great results.

Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain Veneers offers the ultimate in esthetics. A veneer is a thin facing or covering that bonds to the natural tooth structure. A much more conservative alternative to crowns (caps) that can give you the smile you have always dreamed of and deserve.

Porcelain Veneers are top line in cosmetic dentistry.  If your teeth are chipped, broken, or discolored, porcelain veneers are a great way to change the color and shape of your teeth.  Veneers can be a great alternative to braces for slight orthodontic problems and provide a beautiful smile in a short amount of time. The results are simply gorgeous!

Bonding
Dental bonding can produce amazing improvements by fixing chips in your teeth.  Bonding is covering the front surface of teeth with durable plastic to either change the tooth's color or shape, or to rebuild broken teeth.  Bonding is similar to veneers, but not as strong, but it is a low-cost way to improve your smile.  Bonding is great for children who have chipped front teeth and for adults who need an alternative for veneers and understand the limitations.

Metal Free Crowns
Crowns, or caps, are used to restore broken or cracked teeth. The new metal-free crowns eliminate the ugly black line you may have seen next to the gum line on older crowns.

Tooth Colored Fillings
Inlays and Onlays are tooth-colored restorations that are used in place of silver fillings on the chewing surfaces of back teeth.  This approach has become very popular because silver (mercury) fillings are not safe and are less attractive.

 

Dentures & Partials
While we wish no one would ever need dentures, sometimes they are the most reasonable option.  In the past wearing dentures was the only form of dentistry available to improve a person’s smile. When they are indicated we take the time necessary to create attractive, well fitting dentures. They can’t beat a set of your own teeth when they are healthy and straight, but when natural teeth can’t be restored dentures look great and chew well.

If a person has lost too much of their jawbone to steady their dentures, implants can be placed. The dentures are attached to the implants to hold them firmly in place.  If you have this problem, call us for a consultation appointment.

Braces & Invisalign (Orthodontics)
Dr. Engelage understands the importance of having healthy teeth and proper jaw alignment. Crooked and crowded teeth are hard to clean and maintain. This can result in tooth decay, worsen gum disease and lead to tooth loss. Other orthodontic problems can contribute to abnormal wear of tooth surfaces, inefficient chewing function, excessive stress on gum tissue and the bone that supports the teeth, or misalignment of the jaw joints. These can lead to chronic headaches and face or neck pain. Orthodontics can be less costly than the additional care required to treat dental problems arising as a result of orthodontic problems. For most people, a beautiful smile is the most obvious benefit of orthodontics.
Dr. Engelage is a certified Invisalign Provider.  Invisalign is the "clear" way to straighten your teeth. Invisalign gradually moves your teeth through a series of custom made, removable, nearly invisible Aligners.  Thanks to CAD CAM technology, Invisalign is able to transform smiles in months without wires.

Healthy Gums
Our hygienist is both thorough and gentle!   We can help you create a custom preventive maintenance routine to keep your teeth and gums healthy.  If you have gum problems, we offer both non-surgical and surgical gum therapies.  We also offer treatment for cold sores and mouth ulcers.

Root Canals
Root canal treatment, also known as endodontic treatment, is a dental procedure in which the diseased or damaged nerve of a tooth is removed so that the tooth can be saved or restored.

TMJ Therapy
Headaches, clenching, grinding teeth - Many people damage their teeth or give themselves headaches by grinding or clenching their teeth during their sleep.  Some people develop jaw joint (TMJ) pain. We offer nightguard type splints to help with this.
